Samsung NX1000 review
Back in June I reviewed the Samsung NX200 , a second-generation example of the company's impressive APS-C mirrorless NX system. At the time of the review the NX200 had already been on sale for eight months, which in the fast-moving world of the compact system camera market is an eternity.

Samsung NX1000 review
The arctic white finish of our Samsung NX1000 review sample indicates that Samsung is targeting the fashion conscious with this entry model in its NX range of compact interchangeable lens cameras. Wireless connectivity furthers the impression that it is in part targeted at slaves to social media.

You wait all day for a wireless interchangeable lens camera and then three arrive at once. The Samsung NX1000 is the entry model in the brand's ‘NX' trio that includes the costlier Samsung NX20 and NX210 models.

So much value for the price
I picked up an open box model of this camera after it had been heavily discounted and after seeing the results of it on both stills and video, I would've gladly paid the new price for it (see example shots). I have never taken pictures this clear before, even on automatic and at lower resolution.

Samsung NX1000 First Look Review
I called Samsung's latest ILC, or interchangeable lens camera, effort a 'Swiss Army knife' on the front page. And it is - it packs a number of features into a pretty petite frame - and with the dazzlingly white finish, it looks good at the same time.

An entry-level camera it may be but this model is not short on features. IF YOU have been looking for a DSLR-like camera with the functions of a smartphone and a budget price, look no further than the Samsung NX1000.

The Samsung NX1000 is the lower-end model of the Korean giant's newest line of interchangeable lens cameras, which marks it as cheaper and less featured. But don't take it as a bad stride; this camera has no shortage of substance, and its cheaper price point makes it still very desirable.

The NX1000 is an entry-level camera for the budding pro, with the same if not more specs and goodies offered by larger more expensive pro cameras.
Pros:
- Good design
- features
- eases of use and the picture quality
Cons:
- Image stabilisation is available in more expensive lenses
- Poor battery life.
