i was a bit hesitant to buy any sound device. i've had some previous but not like this purchase. extremely easy to set up on an older samsung t.v. (eventually, i'll update my old but as long as my old samsung is still working, no need to rush). i love the ability to expand from using the t.v. speakers to using a sound bar with subwoofer to allow for the audio sound like i'm at a movie theater. the bass is amazing. (i'm a fan of all samsung products.) overall, if you're looking for great sounds, i suggest this item.

I wanted to edit my first review but i didn't see the option, so this is my attempt to revise my original one. After the Samsung Specialist responded to my review with instructions on how to synchronize the sound through the Tv settings with the soundbar, it now sounds much better. Had i known this was all that needed to be done, I wouldnt have posted my original review. Overall the soundbar is easy to use, and it is worth the money.

Easy to set up

easy to install, good for sounds

Don`t expect too much form this system. It`s basically a way of improving the sound of your TV. I purchased this as my older TV only has an optical output sound connection and the sound is rubbish. It is a great as a sound enhancer and was easy to fit and setup. I found the sound a bit muffled as in basey meaning on some shows its hard to define some voices but for the price its a good addition to my TV. it is solidly built and a nicely presented. The different settings eg saround, adaptive etc don`t change much

i am having difficulties with set up. also -- i think you really really need to view the extended manual to set this up -- and i had to do a 20 minute chat to get a link to the manual. i can't get the tv or cable remote to control the volume. i finally did see in the manual that you have to click the volume button up or down to control the volume - but who would think to do that???? now i see that by clicking the woofer up and holding it up for 5 seconds should give me a choice -- that does not work. and by clicking the circle button to the left is another thing that should do something and that does not work. omg this is amazingly difficult.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My household has never had a soundbar so it's great to start here. It looks great with our Samsung tv, very classy looking. Paired with Bluetooth it's made the sound so much better than just the tv. I never realized what we were missing. Instructions are a little lacking, feel these should be improved for the technologically lacking individuals. Looking forward to taking to our new home with the larger tv room, this will be awesome and can bring the sound throughout the room for a great experience! An odd comment, but the packaging is a little odd, but that's the items that are in it. Thanks for another great product Samsung.

I have had an amazing Samsung TV since last year and since it is so amazing, I wanted the full theater experience. Boy have I found that with this awesome soundbar! Set up was so easy that my boyfriend and I did it in no time. Bluetooth capabilities make connecting the soundbar to the subwoofer and the tv easy peasy! The surround sound is clear and just simply wonderful. Even the boyfriend who is hard of hearing keeps bragging about how he can understand every word during TV shows. And playing music thru this soundbar is amazing. I felt like I was at a live show! This soundbar truly is changing our listening lives!
