Samsung Galaxy Watch3 4G 41mm Mystic Bronze SM-R855FZDAXNZ review

With an ECG app and trip detection, the Samsung Galaxy Watch3 offers significant health-focused upgrades over its predecessors, and is one of the best alternatives to the Apple Watch.

Beautiful classic watch design; Rotating physical bezel for easy navigation; Bright; sharp screen; New health and safety features; including an ECG app and trip detection; Auto detects select exercises; Lots of watch face options

Blood pressure app may not be available in the US; Missing some popular third-party apps; Not all features work on iOS; Relatively short battery life

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 review

There’s a lot to love about the Galaxy Watch 3. It’s superbly made, very attractive, and its spinning bezel makes it a joy to use. Samsung’s Tizen OS is slick too, with lots of customisation and shortcut options to keep things feeling fresh - made all the better by its class-leading screen. Throw in all the fitness bells and whistles you’re ever likely to need (with handy auto-tracking features to boot), and we have no qualms in saying it’s one of the best smartwatches you can get right now. The only thing that lets it down is its battery life and fairly hefty price tag, but given the combination of form and function on offer here, we’d happily recommend it to all but ther most hardcore of exercise fiends.

Gorgeous design; Crisp, vibrant display; Fun, innovative bezel controls; Clever fitness-tracking features;

Battery life could be better; Expensive;

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 review

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 offers one of the best smartwatch experiences on the market, with a dazzling design and top-end spec that allows it to run as smoothly as any other wearable on the market. It isn’t faultless, and its improvements over the original Galaxy Watch are limited, but if the middling battery life or high price don’t put you off this may be perfect for you.

Great, premium design; Rotating bezel is useful; Strong fitness features;

Battery could be better; Tizen’s apps are limited; High price

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 review

It may not have the same app availability as Wear OS watches, but the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is one of the best you can buy right now.

Rotating bezel; Two-day battery life; Advanced fitness tracking;

Expensive; Lack of third-party apps; Same processor as first-gen Watch;

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 review: Fitness and finesse

The second-gen Galaxy Watch refines rather than reinvents the design of the original, delivering a more feature-packed wrist-worn wearable with additional finesse. It is pricier this time around though.

Attractive design and fully round screen; Smaller and lighter than original; Rotating bezel is brilliant; Great running tracking features;

Battery life isn't great; Third-party music apps are slow and inconsistent; Not as many popular apps/services as Apple Watch/Wear OS;

Love it

I was initially concerned about the lack of third party support as the apps available for Samsung are really limited compared to the google or apple ecosystems. However, this is a small device and in practice, I wouldn't use many of the additional apps available on these platforms. The health functions, reminders, alarms, notifications, etc. that I use are absolutely fantastic. On top of that, it looks great.

Very impressed!!

Firstly, the shipping!! I ordered my watch on 22 December at 9:16pm. The next day it was shipped and on 24 December at 3:15pm it was hand delivered to me. Given it was Christmas I was absolutely blown away by the delivery service. The delivery itself is worth 5 stars. The watch: It's beautiful, doesn't look techy and does everything I need. I purchase the watch with LTE. It can go in water (ocean and chlorinated), play music wirelessly to my Bluetooth headphones, (which aren't Samsung), the screen is easy to use with talk-to-text, or you can write each letter or have preset responses, you can personalise the ring tone of the watch, voice record at the drop of a hat, check and respond to emails, use the watch as a remote to take picture on your phone and see live view at the same time.. The negative: It uses Bixby, not Google. Sorry to say Bixby is slow and I am not a fan, but this is literally the only negative for me.

Great Watch

Bought the watch on day of release and havent looked back. This is my first smart watch and will easily continue buying the Galaxy Watch range. Highly recommended. 1 slight draw back - battery could be a LITTLEEEE bigger but all in all, it last for a solid two and a bit days with everything turned on. Go and get one!!

I love this watch

After trying cheaper brands that broke, I just had to try the Samsung. With the S20 Ultra it blows them all out the water. It looks amazing ( with a Spigen Stainless Steel strap ) and I now wear this instead of my Omega Seamster. I even wear it at work ( I'm an Electrician ) and it never marks.

Samsung Galaxy Watch3 - Best watch ever.

Extremely happy with my New Galaxy Watch3, that I purchased from Harvey Norman. Great functionality, choice of various watch faces and ease of receiving and making calls ^ texts on the go without having to carry a mobile phone is brilliant. Makes going for a run a lot easier and still stay connected to the world.
