extremely happy
I spent many months saving for an ipad then happen to see this in the Argos catalogue which led to a month of research, reviews and playing around, I then decided that the Samsung Galaxy tablet 10.1 was what I wanted(and needed!

Nelson Isibor reviews the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 the successor to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was announced at the Mobile World Congress in February 2012 and was released in May 2012. I have had the wifi-only version of the Tab 2 10.1 for a couple of weeks and I decided to write my experiences with it so far.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
With Asus' 32GB Transformer Pad available for £399 complete with quad-core CPU, 8Mp camera and keyboard dock, and the smaller Nexus 7 soon to hit the market for £160, the Galaxy Tab 2 isn't quite cheap enough to make a compelling case for itself. It's not a bad device per se , though.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review
A decent tablet at a great price, but a lack of power and 2011-res screen count against it
Pros:
- Punchy performance
- Good screen
Cons:
- 3MP camera is poor

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review
The first-generation Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was the iPad's closest rival of the time, even if such rivalry amounted to it being a device with a similar hardware spec, on a less-polished software platform, at a higher price.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
Samsung would like you to think of its tablets as the Android market leaders. To some extent, the firm has earned that right. It was early putting devices on sale, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 remains a consumer electronics classic, proving valuable even a few years on.
Pros:
- Great video support
- superb battery
- screen is better than the spec suggests
Cons:
- Boring to look at
- stock keyboard is rotten

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review
A year ago we liked the Tab 10.1, and for the second generation the hardware specs remain broadly the same, and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a much better operating system. All for £100 cheaper than it was.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is ultimately a forgettable entry in the ever-growing chronicle of Samsung Android-powered products. The core elements of this tablet are fine; the screen works, its connectivity is good and the Android platform offers quite a bit of functionality.
Pros:
- Android Ice Cream Sandwich
- Low price
- 3G option
Cons:
- Average performance and battery life
- Dull-looking design
- Battery heats up during use
- Strong competition
