First look: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v
Tipped to be the iPad's first credible rival, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v is a feature-packed tablet device that runs on Google's latest Android operating system; 3.0 Honeycomb . Its main advantages over the Apple iPad (and indeed, the Apple iPad 2 ) are an 8-megapixel AF camera with inbuilt flash,...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android 3 tablet computer
Samsung's original tablet computer, the Galaxy Tab , was one of the first serious contenders to line up against the Apple iPad , but we were unimpressed. It was too expensive, with a small screen and not much software available.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 review
We had high hopes for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and if you need a tablet with a more flexible operating system than iOS then its slender, lightweight design makes it an attractive choice. You do have to sacrifice ports and battery life in the process though so it's not an ideal choice for everyone.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is the best Android tablet we've tested so far. Its design is not coincidentally similar to that of the Apple iPad 2, which continues to set the standard but is now being challenged.
Pros:
- This tablet features the Android 3.1 Honeycomb OS and is thin and light
Cons:
- Though the device offers Adobe Flash
- the response can be rather unimpressive with demanding content

Very good purchase!
After about a week of active use, I am even more glad I made this purchase. I've put a 32GB minisd card in it first thing to give me room to grow. Yes, the '8GB' internal memory is really only about 4GB out of the box, but that seems to be somewhat normal across the Tablet industry.
Pros:
- Size
- speed
- expandable
Cons:
- not much yet
- Don't like included syncing program
