Google Nexus 10 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comparison review
Samsung and Google both have 10-inch tablets that they want you to buy, this is where we both the two up against one another and decide which one is best. Here's our Google Nexus 10 vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 comparison review.
Used to be a great tablet
This "was" a great tablet until the last update. Not only did Samsung change the whole look and feel of the tablet, but now some of the apps I absolutely loved to use don't work anymore. Now you can't get rid of the quick toolbar at the bottom and it's on every screen.- Built-In Speakers
- poor product updates
i bought the tablet for work and its such a easy product to use.
i bought the tablet for me, something i could use at work but the ease of it makes it so my elderly clients can use it as well. tapping the screen to make mahjong closer up so they can really see what they need or the next move is perfect. It just shows how accessible Samsung has made things.Great...
Excellent piece of kit
Well this tablet is a fantastic piece of kit, ive had it nearly a year now with no problems whatsoever!! The speed, display and everything about it is awesome. I'm keeping this tablet, just hope samsung update it to 4.4 kitkat and I'll be an even happier customer!!
Fabulous Tablet, ease of use, Variety of Apps - Fantastic value for money!
Bought this as a 2nd tablet for the family to avoid sharing issues with an iPad. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 16GB WIFI (Android), is easy to use for even Luddites that live in today's computer driven world. Excellent battery life & quick to charge.
Great tablet at a great low price
As soon as I can convince my spouse that we need a newer one, I will see about getting one of the newer Galaxy Tabs. Samsung has made a great product line that has the features and customizability that I enjoy.- I have had this tablet for nearly one year
- I have rotted mine, and installed CyanogenMod on it
- It has been outstanding
- The fact that it does not have a wireless radio (not WIFI) is not a big deal
- I run my phone as a wireless hotspot to feed it connectivity when out.
- If you put a distribution of Android on this that supports multiple user profiles, keep your filesystem usage under scrutiny
- I have not yet found a distro that supports both User Profiles AND install apps to the SDCard.
Second time in a little over a year tablet shuts down and will not turn on.
The first time this happened it was just under 1 year old, now 15 months old it is shut down again. It is not the battery as it was fully charged when I was using it and had to leave it for a few minutes.- When it works it is great
- quick response
- takes great pics.
- etc
- Shuts down and won't turn on
- Have to bring it in for repairs again
Great Deal on Samsung Tab 2, 10.1"
I wanted a tablet to use for e-mail, and for a web page where I am a Moderator. I wanted a large enough screen to easily view, while the touch screen keyboard was displayed for use. I love the clarity and resolution of the screen, The text and graphics are great.
okay
Its good as soon as you get it brand new but this tablet can only run for a year to 2 years at the maximum. After that it lag like no tommorow and have a number of major problems.- Big
- micro sd card slot
- Camera is terrible
- lags alot after a year
- updates not coming
- Outdated tablet
- While the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 may be the upgraded version of their flagship 10-inch tablet device, frankly so little has change to really merit it being an upgrade. The tablet is thicker and heavier than its predecessor with only the advantages of coming with Android 4.0 and an IR...
