Review: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for Sprint
Even with its stellar battery life and good gaming performance, this is not a good tablet. I don't think I'd go so far as to say it's the worst tablet on the market, but you will certainly notice its shortcomings should you buy this device.
Nice to take on the go
I really like the easy of packing this item and taking it where ever i need to go. The charge of the battery was very quick. My kids enjoyed playing the games on it. And it cam in handy when i needed to transfer funds to my bank account.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 gets 4G, fosters indifference
The reality is that 4G tablets are just expensive -- thanks to the hardware, yes, but much more significantly to the licensing fees the manufacturer has to pay in order to use that hardware. That's what drives up the price and what makes 4G tablets a tough sell.- The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a well-designed tablet with powerful speakers
- a responsive screen
- and expandable storage
- The tablet is overpriced
- its dual-core CPU has trouble running large 1080p movies smoothly
- and its screen color accuracy isn't as high as the previous Tab 10.1's
Its okay to have but not required if you have a good smart phone
I bought it as a handy utility tab for outdoors, and its okay to have. But observed few things like some websites are not well supported, Facebook app is looks weird seems like the Tab app is yet to come to market and the one that is there is for smart phones.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 offers little to get excited about and provides no compelling reason to choose it over alternatives.
Back in February 2012, a Samsung executive was quoted as saying: "Honestly, we're not doing very well in the tablet market." Despite this rather frank admission, the company appears to have done little to change that with its latest release.- Light weight and solid build
- microSD card slot
- 3G model available
- Sluggish performance
- Mediocre cameras
- Expensive
i bought the tablet for work and its such a easy product to use.
i bought the tablet for me, something i could use at work but the ease of it makes it so my elderly clients can use it as well. tapping the screen to make mahjong closer up so they can really see what they need or the next move is perfect. It just shows how accessible Samsung has made things.Great...
- While the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 may be the upgraded version of their flagship 10-inch tablet device, frankly so little has change to really merit it being an upgrade. The tablet is thicker and heavier than its predecessor with only the advantages of coming with Android 4.0 and an IR...
Not worth it
I bought this tablet on November 16th once I used it its bad. battery life runs out fast, once I touch the thing that I want to open it open something else, it's very slow, when I swipe something it give u a delay for some games and app, bad graphic when playing some games and app.
Used to be a great tablet
This "was" a great tablet until the last update. Not only did Samsung change the whole look and feel of the tablet, but now some of the apps I absolutely loved to use don't work anymore. Now you can't get rid of the quick toolbar at the bottom and it's on every screen.- Built-In Speakers
- poor product updates
