Love it!!

Does everything you could ever want to do with a tab. Way more than a reader and just shy of being a lap top. You can't go wrong with this one. Price is right too.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)

With the tablet market so crowded these days, Apple's once commanding position is being eroded by Android tablet manufacturers such as Google, Samsung and Asus. Whilst the iPad is still clearly the biggest seller, the options for those that prefer the Android operating system or perhaps don't have...
Pros:
  • Great quality screen for the price
  • Cheap
  • Highly configurable
  • Great range of apps
  • Easy to use
  • MicroSD support
Cons:
  • Very poor audio
  • Only 3MP rear camera
  • Struggles with some of the more graphically intensive tablet games
  • Google Play store should better identify tablet optimised apps

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is the rather wordy successor to the popular Galaxy Tab 10.1 , an Android tablet which managed to challenge the iPad in almost every department, which are some pretty big shoes to fill.

Simple

Granted, I don't do much with it, but I got it to keep score of baseball games I go to. The ap I got works excellently. I also bought a wireless Bluetooth keybaoard and it makes it like a laptop when I need that.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a far cry from its little brother, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

Despite the fact that you can still buy this tablet right now, it's definitely aging when you compare it to other tablets of comparable price on the market. While it does offer some pretty awesome features, the core performance of the screen and outdated version of Android will lead many to seek...

Best Purchase Ever

I bought this so I can watch movies, view/take photos, use heaps of apps and view content from my Samsung TV/Bluray Player with the Samsung Smart View App. Also I would recommend buying this instead of the Apple iPad because it is more user friendly for watching movies and you can do a lot of more...

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 review: Hands-on

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is finally here, boasting the same 7-inch form factor as the original but with a few tweaks inside. Of course the question will be with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Galaxy Tab 8.9 already here, will people really want something smaller?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review

Although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is the clear successor to the original, it's hardly an upgrade. It's not materially better than the OG version -- in fact, it's worse in almost every way -- and now Samsung finds itself in a market where it can't compete as effectively as it used to.
Pros:
  • Thin and light design
  • Healthy battery life
  • IR blaster and universal remote app
Cons:
  • Terrible camera
  • even for a tablet
  • Display is sometimes unresponsive
  • Performance trails similarly priced tablets
