Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 unboxing and initial hands on review
A few weeks ago, Samsung released the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 , which of course is a 7-inch Android tablet. Today marks the release of the 10.1-inch version of that same tablet. Other than the display size, resolution, and storage capacity, the only other difference is the placement of the speakers.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review
Samsung does a number of things right with the Galaxy Tab 2 – the pricing makes more sense, and most of the sacrifices Samsung made to hit that number are ones I'm willing to accept (though I'd love to have that AMOLED display).- Nice-looking design
- Runs Android 4.0
- Affordable at $399.99
- Neat universal remote functionality
- Glitchy performance
- Android tablet app ecosystem is weak
- Poor camera
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Review
With the original Galaxy Tab 10.1, Samsung had a pretty good thing going: It was thin, lighter than the iPad 2, and had strong speakers. But technology never stands still, which is why Samsung added smart remote capability for controlling your TV, as well as a microSD card slot, all while lowering...
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) ($399.99, 16GB) joins the ever-growing, all-sizes-covered lineup of Samsung tablets , following right behind its baby brother, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) ($249.99, 4 stars).- More affordable than its predecessor
- Ships with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0)
- Adds a microSD slot
- Sharp, bright screen
- Aging components
- Mediocre battery life
- Performance not up to competition
prefer the ios operating system for tablets and phones, but samsung decide to put windows on tablet then definitely I will buy it. Ipad is better to use it for Business doing spreadsheets, word and stuff like that for the reason that Apple has better apps than android
- light and easy to use
- operating system android and little battery life
The overview of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1" – design and hardware specs
Between the original 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab and this, it is no-doubt a good choice for first-time users who need more than 32GB for storing files. Its design is classier, comes with Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, and supports expandable storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 review: Make it two
The question this second-generation Samsung tablet is trying to answer is not "How much better can it get?" The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 stops at how much. It feels safe pretending there's no such thing as a third-generation iPad.- 10.1" 16M-color PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen of WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels, TI OMAP 4430 chipset: Dual-core 1.0GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor
- 1GB of RAM
- PowerVR SGX540 GPU, Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz UX UI, Quad-band GPRS/EDGE and quad-band 3G with HSPA connectivity
- Proprietary 30-pin connector for charging and connectivity
- No camera LED flash
- Average screen resolution
- Non-replaceable battery
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
How many tablets are available through U.S. Cellular that are capable of running on their 4G LTE network? There is only one and it is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.- 4G LTE, U.S
- Cellular, Great Display
- Outdated Tech
- No Android 4.0
- Very few U.S.
" Love It! "
Pros: Super fast, bright vivid clear screen, large enough to view everything perfectly, yet compact to be convenient. Cons: Not enough covers easily available on the market. I just want a book/folder type, not the cover/convertible stand type. So far I have only found one. Online only.

Where once tablet s were a form of medication, now they take on the role of an entertainment and information delivery device.
