Samsung Galaxy S4

5.0
Verdict: As we type this we have the SGS3 and the SGS4 on our desk. While, superficially, there's really not a lot of difference between the two, to hold, they couldn't feel more different. We really like the new, more square-feeling SGS4.
Pros: A brilliant phone in almost every way, subtly better design than SGS3, loads of new gesture and eye-tracking features, powerful
Cons: A bit complex now, incredibly expensive, not a huge leap from the SGS3, battery life is still bad

Samsung Galaxy S4

4.5
Verdict: At the end of the day, my feelings are much the same. The Galaxy S4 has grown on me a tad more. It's fun to use and is unquestionably one of the two best phones on the market. The larger screen size is very nice. But I don't prefer the look or the plastic flimsy construction.
Pros: Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU is the fastest in class. Massive UI customization. Some neat new features. Air Gesture is fun. Amazing camera. UI and static images pop. Qi wireless charging. NFC support. Love the multi-window app tray. Flipboard integration
Cons: Plastic feels flimsy, slipper and sub-par. Lacks heft. Clutter-potential with overlapping interfaces. To familiar in the face of changing competition

3.6
Verdict: Samsung has packed this phone with benchmark specs; processing power, camera quality, software and battery power are all top line. Samsung Galaxy S4 Review

4.6
Verdict: Last year, I had few final words: "Buy the Galaxy S3, as there isn't a better phone on the market." This year, the scenario is complicated by the entrance of the HTC One and a few mystifying design choices by Samsung.
Pros: - Beautiful, high-resolution screen with improved colour accuracy over previous models, - Excellent camera quality and lots of opportunity for tinkering, - Many of the new features like Air Gesture, S Health and WatchOn are well received and useful, - Impressively compact for 5-inch device, -
Cons: - Low-light photo quality is lower than competition, - Build quality still below that of the HTC One and iPhone 5, - Comes with nearly half of its 16GB storage already in use out of the box, - Many features like Air View and Smart Scroll feel underdeveloped, - Emphasis on using Samsung-branded

Samsung Galaxy S4 review

4.5
Verdict: The simple truth is that the Galaxy S4 and high-end rivals the HTC One and iPhone 5 are all excellent, highly recommended phones. The One and iPhone 5 have stronger design points of view with focused, flagship features. The HTC One is about Blinkfeed, Watch, and Zoe.
Pros: A blinding number of features, Incredibly fast, Ships with Android 4.2.2, Relatively small for its display size
Cons: Plastic body, Low light photo performance isn't so hot

Samsung Galaxy S 4 review

Cons: Several new features are impractical and half-baked, Boring overall design without premium look or feel

Samsung Galaxy S4

4.5
Verdict: The Samsung Galaxy line of smartphones is a juggernaut; like the iPhone, the next generation will sell well based simply on brand loyalty, trust and familiarity. Even so, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has a lot to offer, and though I wasn't overwhelmed with love for the Galaxy S III, the S4 is seriously...
Pros: Huge display in a not so huge phone, excellent camera, removable battery, entertaining new features

Samsung Galaxy S4 Review

Verdict: It isn't often that I get to play with a phone or review one. I am not a phone reviewer, but a games reviewer. However, Phones4U sent me a Samsung Galaxy S4 before Christmas to play with and I thought it would be worth writing a few words about it – concentrating on the gaming aspects.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition Review

Verdict: Summary: With the Galaxy S4, Samsung has squeezed a superb 5-inch screen and a host of high-end features into a slightly slimmer, thinner and lighter chassis than its S III predecessor. It's an excellent handset, but some will find the S4 overladen with unnecessary features and too expensive.

Cons: Expensive, Many of the proximity- and gesture-based features feel gimmicky, Limited internal storage (16GB) on review unit

Verdict: Are there no limits to what the Galaxy S4 can do? Just yesterday, it helped save the world from an alien invasion, right before giving birth to a little one that, we're told, will eventually be known as the S4 mini. ( Editor: go easy on the puns there pal ).
Pros: Superb screen, versatile camera, speedy performance, software features
Cons: The range of features could get confusing, mixed success with some features such as Air Glance and Air call-accept

Samsung Galaxy S4 Review

Cons: There are so many options they can be overwhelming, design is similar to the S III, plastic body may not be to everyone's taste

Cons: Plastic design is not for everyone, particularly on a flagship phone. HTC One delivers tough competition

Samsung Galaxy S4 Review: Good, Not Best

No reviews
Verdict: Since it arrived last year, the Galaxy S III has been the world's best-selling, non-Apple smartphone. An impressive feat, but of course, this only builds expectations for the sequel, as does Samsung's Megatron-sized hype-machine.

Samsung Galaxy S4 review

5.0
Verdict: You'd think Samsung's gameplan for this year would be pretty simple after shifting more than 50 million Galaxy S3s . Make last year's stonkingly successful phone slightly bigger and slightly better, sell bucketloads, then kick back and blow raspberries at the competition until 2014 rolls around.
Pros: Gutsy and powerful, Lush screen
Cons: Underwhelming design, New gestures a bit gimmicky

Samsung Galaxy S4 review: is last year's phone still a good buy?

5.0
Verdict: There's no question that the Galaxy S4 was the most-hyped device of 2013. Samsung's poured millions of dollars into marketing the S4 as a "life companion," which can translate your speech at the drop of a hat, beautify your photos and help you connect with the folks around you.
Pros: Display, Performance, Camera, Battery, Software features
Cons: Cheap design/material, Look of UI

Samsung Galaxy S4 review

4.0
Verdict: Samsung's flagship phone is very much a Galaxy phone with a familiar and cheap-feeling plastic build. The layout is virtually identical to the S III and Samsung's thrown a ton of software at it which when married to its quad-core 1.9GHz processor makes it a bit of a beast.
Pros: Insanely fast lots of installed apps
Cons: Limited onboard storage many embedded apps are useless cheap plastic build

Review: Samsung Galaxy S4

3.5
Verdict: The list of cool things the Galaxy S4 can do is astonishing. Right out of the box, without downloading a single app, you can perform a plethora of magic tricks. It follows your eyes, and it will pause a video if it senses you looking away.
Pros: Everything you loved about the S III, but more of it. Big battery lasts all day. Super AMOLED 1080×1920 screen is one of the sharpest you can buy, and it uses the new, more durable Gorilla Glass 3. MHL 2.0 port lets you connect to an HDTV. Crisp daylight photos.
Cons: Samsung's software is big bag of "why?" Construction is cheap, and there's nothing exotic or inspiring about the hardware design. Camera software is kludgy, and low-light shots get noisy quickly. Pricing varies widely (see above) but leans toward expensive

Samsung Galaxy S 4 Written Review

No reviews
Verdict: The Galaxy S 4 relies on its software features, while hoping that you may not pay much attention to the hardware of your phone. Or, Samsung is just hoping that you believe plastic is a better decision, if you happen to drop your phone more often than not.
Pros: The 1080p HD display is sharp and crisp. The 13MP camera takes great photos. The additional software features, like "Air Gesture" are not gimmicks, but nice perks
Cons: The plastic body doesn't make the phone feel like a high-end, premium device. Too much bloatware.
