Whoever is on the display of the phone it will dial just by putting it up to your ear. Also does that bump phones, transfer info thing. Tap twice on the top and it will bring you back to the top of the page... Its really cool, have fun.......by the way I confess I'm old.

The basics The Samsung Galaxy S3 is Samsung's latest Android smartphone. It comes running the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system out of the box, powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz processor.
Pros:
- With its 4.8-inch screen, the Galaxy is a bit of a beast
- But don't let its size fool you into think it's a cumbersome thing
- The Galaxy S3 is slim, light and feels great to hold
- Into the nitty gritty of its performance, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is blisteringly quick.
Cons:
- A downside to such a large handset is that one-handed operation can be awkward
- Unless you own some large fingers, that is
- Stretching your fingers from one of the device to another proves uncomfortable
- Like Apple's Siri, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has a voice assistant.

Very Good
The speaker could have been better. Overall excellent phone and great value for money. Among the phones available today S3 still holds its class.

I would not buy this phone
I have had this phone for 12 months and had nothing but trouble,so i am looking for a better phone.I had no service when other people did.

Samsung Galaxy S3 I747 16GB White GSM Unlocked Android Phone (Refurbished)
Do not buy. bad phone and bad customer service. Since I got the phone I have not been able to get it to charge. it appears to have a short in the phone where it charges. I tried a friends charger and It still won't charge. I also purchased the warranty.

Motherboard crashed in a month
Maybe just got the wrong piece..(but have later heard mixed review from others too about Samsung phone quality) but the calls stopped working a month down the line for no apparent reason. Went to Samsung Care and was told the motherboard needed to be replaced.

The venerable Galaxy S3 is still a great phone, but there are better options out there now, even if you can find one for cheap

Incredible phone.
The best phone that Virgin Mobile currently offers. I wish it came in colors other than white, though. Since the S3 is such a popular phone on other carriers, there are lots of accessories made for it. My area recently got 4G LTE service and this phone is able to take advantage of that.
Pros:

- Clear display
- Fast processor
- Large screen
Cons:
- Occasionally freezes
- Only available in white
