Samsung Galaxy Pocket Review
Budget smartphones are those that hold consumers' hands as they transit from feature phones to the smartphones. They offer a "smart OS" and features that give users a tip of the iceberg view of the potential of owning a smartphone.
Pros:
- Good
- compact build
- Good keyboard
- 3GB internal memory
- Hot swappable microSD card slot
Cons:
- No front facing camera
- Screen size may be too small for some
- No flash
- Average camera

This is my first smartphone so I wasn't sure what to expect and also didn't want to spend a lot of money in something I wouldn't use a lot as I hardly make lengthy phone calls or forever check Facebook etc when out and about.
Pros:
- value for money
- reliable brand
Cons:
- no usb cable included

Mr. Mo reviews the Samsung Galaxy Pocket
The Samsung GT-S5300 Galaxy Pocket is a diminutive touchscreen device targeted at the low end market. There is not much to be expected in terms of hardware at this price point, but then all the software goodies of Android are in there.

Editor's Review of the Galaxy Pocket
The Galaxy Pocket is tiny and, as expected, most of its ups and downs are related to its size. While some are drawn to the idea of a matchbox-sized phone (almost), it does suffer when it comes to screen quality, picture-taking and navigation for those with even medium-sized hands.

This latest Samsung production is being placed even under the Samsung mini 2 family. Though it covers almost all basic Android features and supports most of the apps on Google Play Store, it just fails to impress majorly because of its poor resolution display screen.
Pros:
- Android OS
- v2.3 (Gingerbread
- 832 Mhz processor
- 2.8- inches
- TFT capacitive touch screen
- 2 Megapixels camera
- No Flash
- 3GB internal memory
- MicroSD card slot
- expandable up to 32GB
- Standard Li-Ion
- 1200 mAh battery
- 3.5 mm audio jack
- Standard 2.0 USB port
- Stereo FM Radio with RDS
- WiFi,...
Cons:
- It has a small display
- topped up with a poor resolution
- making the display crude and harsh on your eyes
- The device has only 2 mp camera
- that too with no flash or auto focus

Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 review: Happy meal
Samsung are back to basics and they say there's always room for one more in the low end. Especially one that doesn't take too much space. The Galaxy Pocket makes the Galaxy Mini look like it's on steroids and the Y series like a bunch of semi pros...

Samsung Galaxy Pocket
While most smartphones manufacturers continue to pack larger and larger screens into their devices, Samsung haven't completely forgotten that good things sometimes come in small packages!

Samsung Galaxy Pocket – all-in-one budget-priced smartphone review
Samsung Galaxy Pocket received FCC approval today and we know what that means – it could be on its way to the US. There's no official word from Samsung but FCC certification is usually a good sign.
