Galaxy Note 10.1 (N8000)

BEING the top Android smartphone maker in the world, Samsung is trying hard to make its mark in the tablet arena. Its latest attempt comes in the form of the Galaxy Note 10.1. First of all, the Note 10.1 is not to be confused with the Galaxy Note 2.
Pros:
  • Multiscreen brings multitasking to a whole new level
  • S Pen works well
  • Jelly Bean update coming soon
Cons:
  • Screen resolution disappointing
  • multiscreen works with only a few apps

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 32gb

Great machine, strong backbone and easy to use. I would recommend this machine for purchase to everyone with no regrets.
Pros:
  • This machine is fast, dependable and works well on wifi from any hotspot so far
  • Have had this for one month and could not suggest any better machine for the task it is designed to do.
Cons:
  • Have only had one program that would not work
  • it would continue to ask you to login (SplashId for Android Tablet

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 review

There's not really many places you can fault the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. It's made a significant improvement in most departments and does more with the design to hide some of its hulking size.
Pros:
  • Beautiful
  • bright
  • screen
  • Great battery life
  • Lightning fast
Cons:
  • Overbearing TouchWiz UI
  • Disappointing speaker
  • Very big

One heck of a device that comes supercharged with features; but not very attractive pricing. Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone was the first hybrid tablet-smartphone and took the world by surprise because people quickly became fans of this oddly sized device.
Pros:
  • Looks
  • Build
  • Features
  • S-Pen
Cons:
  • Price

"Great full function tablet."

These Galaxy Note's are fabulous tablets, with plenty of ram, cheap memory expansion and a variety of Samsung's own applications tailored to the S-Pen make it a powerful work and study tool.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 review

Summary: When it works well, the Galaxy Note 10.1's S Pen functionality is impressive and reliable. However, we'd like to see more emphasis on handwriting recognition. The quad-core processor can surely handle this, and we'll be looking for it in the next-generation Note device.
Pros:
  • Responsive S Pen stylus, Quad-core processor, Nice split-screen function, The only 10.1in
  • tablet with pen input
Cons:
  • Proprietary charge/PC connector
  • No Micro-USB port
  • No HDMI port
  • Handwriting recognition could be supported more widely
  • Relatively expensive
  • Slightly flimsy build

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Review

We're a bit perplexed regarding Samsung's naming conventions. A 7.7″ tablet is a Galaxy "Tab", but a 10.1″ tablet could either be a "Tab" or a "Note". It would make more sense to us if the smaller tablets were "Notes" and the larger were "Tabs", perhaps that's just crazy talk.
Pros:
  • + Nice
  • big screen
  • + Front firing speakers let you hear your content without blasting it to everyone around you
  • + Multi Screen lets you run have multiple apps open on the screen at the same time
  • though few apps support this feature
  • + Battery life is nothing short of amazing
  • The Samsung Galaxy
Cons:
  • - Volume button is "upside down" when the tablet is in portrait
  • - Screen gets "oily" and shows "stylus trails"
  • - Build quality is lacking
  • creaks and squeaks aren't uncommon
  • - S Note app has potential
  • but doesn't live up to our stylus-friendly expectations
  • The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 comes in
