Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910F) Smartphone Review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910F) is an excellent smartphone . The material impression is now better and pretty appealing with the metal frame . The Snapdragon 805 is very fast, but the throttling of the Adreno 420 under load is pretty annoying.

Powerful SoC; Good camera; Great build quality; Very good battery runtimes; Replaceable battery; Expandable memory; S-Pen; Quick charge; 50 GB Dropbox for 24 months; Good GPS module; Decent voice quality; The great display is in a class of its own and also works well under the sun.

GPU throttling; No IP certification; No USB 3.0; Bloatware; We would have expected an IP certification for the Note 4

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Review

The Galaxy Note 4 is a shining example of how great a phablet can be. It's one of the best Android phones available today -- if not the very best.

Fantastic big-screen features; Cutting edge processing power; Great battery life; Best Android phablet; Plenty of storage space; Fantastic camera

Not waterproof; S-Pen controls hidden in settings; No good way to manage screen size; S Pen isn't a must-have feature

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (AT&T)

Armed with an incredible Quad HD AMOLED display, cutting-edge Snapdragon 805 processor, and Samsung's newfound premium design, the Galaxy Note 4 ($299.99 with contract) is easily one of the most impressive smartphones of the year.

Incredible Quad HD display; New premium look and feel; Flexible multitasking; Improved stylus features; Outstanding battery life

Trades comfort for style; Requires some work to get the most out of the experience

Review: Samsung Galaxy Note 4

There are phones, and there are phablets. The iPhone 6 Plus ? Phone. The Note 4? Phablet. These are the two premier Big Phones on the market today. But despite similar sizes, they offer two very, very different experiences. The 6 Plus feels like an outsized iPhone.

Have you ever loved a stylus? You just may love this one thanks to excellent note-taking software; Fantastic cameras on both back and front side let everyone see your smiling mug; Battery life is so long-lived we're afraid we'll die before it does

Still riddled with gimmicky, novelty, useless UI elements; Come on, Samsung, just give us a pure Android OS with your specialty apps as options

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The Galaxy Note 4 is by far one of the best phablets that we have seen and combines high-end hardware with a feature rich UI. It also features some welcome changes in the design department and the Super AMOLED display just leaves us wanting for more.

Design overhaul is great; Excellent display; Powerful hardware and software features; OIS on camera with 4K video

Still too large to handle; Plastic back panel is very flimsy

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review: if you want a phablet, you want this

You don't have to go far to find a big smartphone these days. You've got to look a lot harder, though, to find one that uses its size to its advantage. The Galaxy Note 4 is more than The Next Big Thing; it's the next big thing that deserves to exist.

Super high-end specifications;  Premium fit/finish with outstanding display;  Best camera on a Samsung smartphone;  Best stylus experience on any smartphone; Powerful; adaptable software

The Note 4 has been widely available for several weeks on its home turf in South Korea, even selling out its initial round of pre-orders; Here in the States, its official availability kicks off just as this review goes to press on October 17.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an excellent smartphone that any phablet fan would love to own. Its stylus works perfectly, its screen is gorgeous, its camera is powerful, and its processor blazes.

A spectacular camera; a huge battery; a solid processor and a stylus to boot – the Note 4 has just every feature a smartphone fanatic would want

The phone is big and clunky and can be rather uncomfortable to hold; thanks to its hard edges and a bezel that's distinctly separate from its screen

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review: the best big-screen phone you can buy right now

Not only is the Note 4 the best Samsung smartphone I've ever used, but it's also the best large-screen phone on the market -- even better than the iPhone 6 Plus.

Gorgeous design with high-end materials; Nice display; Best camera in a Galaxy smartphone; Powerful performance; Great battery life

Isn't waterproof; Loudspeaker still needs work

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 review: Four of a kind

From an oddball that everyone was laughing at to becoming one of the most important Samsung announcement of the year - the Note series got to a place where now everyone else wants to be in too, including Apple.

5.7" 16M-color QHD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with curved Gorilla Glass 3, Android OS v4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI, LTE Cat 6 support, Quad-core 2.7GHz Krait 450 CPU, Adreno 420 GPU; Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 16MP OIS camera with 2160p video recording @ 30fps, 1080p @...

Rear-mounted mono speaker; microUSB 2.0 is a downgrade over microUSB 3.0 on the Note 3; The uneven gap between the metal frame and curved screen glass takes a few points away from an otherwise excellent build; No enhanced resistance to liquids or dust; Wireless charging support only with an optional...

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Review

Samsung started the trend toward larger smartphones with the original Galaxy Note and perfected the concept of pen-enabled handsets with last year's Note 3 . With competitors like Apple, whose iPhone 6 Plus measures 5.5 inches, entering the phablet space, Samsung has responded with its most...
