Samsung Galaxy Mega Review: In Depth
First impressions are certainly deceptive with the Samsung Galaxy Mega. It's size seems prohibitively big at first, but it actual makes for a great experience, both navigating the interface and especially when watching content.
Pros:
- Excellent screen
- Premium design
- Expandable memory
Cons:
- Large size makes this a niche device
- UI isn't optimised for one-handed use
- Poor 3D gaming performance

Great!
It's a great phone. It's not as fast as some smaller ones but the slower speed doesn't bother me too much. It has great battery power and also has a cool larger screen. For me, at first, it was odd to have such a large phone. But I got use to it.
Pros:
- batter power
- easy to get use to
- large screen
- loud speaker
Cons:
- slower but not too much
- power button in annoying spot

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 Review -...
Samsung has gone and done it now. We ridiculed phablets that would beyond 5.5 inches in their display, wondering what the point was in having a device really never felt like either a tablet or smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8
Based on the specifications this device is clearly designed for a purpose and that is getting to a two in one solution. It is a compromise between phone and tablet with a very big screen and less emphasis on screen resolution and some of the fancy features in top end phones and strong processing.
Pros:
- Very big and good screen with the latest Android
Cons:
- Size is very big for some which impacts persons' mobility

Its huge 5.8 inch screen has the wow factor but fails to provide the kind of performance that one would expect from a device priced above Rs 20,000. When you are in the No 1 position, expectations are bound to increase and everything you do would be considered as the benchmark.
Pros:
- Big Display
- Intuitive User Interface
- Camera
Cons:
- Erratic touch response
- Slow
- Price

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 preview
Samsung's Galaxy Mega 5.8 is still a big smartphone on a budget. Announced at the same time as its larger brother, the Galaxy Mega 5.8 gets a downgrade in specifications as well as screen size.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 is a part of Samsung's two pronged approach to capture the audience looking for a device even bigger than the 5.5inch Note 2 but smaller than a tablet. Targeting the 5.8 inch and 6.3 inch segments, Samsung now has handsets at practically every screen size.
Pros:
- Decent camera
- Great battery life
- Dual SIM
Cons:
- Too big
- Low resolution screen
- Average performance
- Price

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 Review
The Samsung Galaxy Mega line was introduced by Samsung recently, and we've had one to play with since the early days June 2013. At first, it's a bit intriguing to see that Samsung has introduced a large display smartphone that has much lower specifications than its flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone.
