As one of Samsung's flagship point-and-shoot cameras, the EX2F is nicely styled shooter that offers plenty of user-adjustable controls. It also sports an amazing fast-aperture lens, large sensor, beautiful display, and great use of Wi-Fi.
Pros:
- Fast
- bright F/1.4 lens
- Beautiful AMOLED display
- Useful "help" menus
- Excellent Wi-Fi
Cons:
- Slow zoom
- Short focal range
- Photos can sometimes be overexposed

Samsung EX2F review
The EX2F is a good example of getting what you pay for. It's the cheapest of the high-end advanced compacts, and while it does offers some excellent features, good overall performance and outstanding low-light results, it simply can't match the image quality of its more expensive rivals.
Pros:
- Solid build quality
- Operational performance
- Feature-rich
- Low light AF
Cons:
- Lens quality
- High-ISO noise

Great Body, But Not So Smart
As smartphones continue to hammer the nails into the sub-$500 pocket camera coffin, camera-makers have been trying their best to inject some allure into the point-and-shoot category.

Samsung EX2F
First impressions of the new Samsung EX2F are of very well-constructed camera with a high-quality all-metal body that just about squeezes into the compact category. Officially measuring 112.1 x 62.4 x 27.55mm and weighing 286g, the EX2F is smaller than its EX1 prededecssor and will just fit into a...

Your reviewer should look up the use of a neutral density filter. It has nothing to do with getting a better 'balance' of exposure. Any fule can see that the side of the pic with the better clouds is simply darker. ND filters are used so you can shoot the same scene with a larger aperture.

Samsung EX2F Digital Camera Review
When Sony introduced the Cyber-shot RX100 earlier this year, it was so far ahead of the competition that much of the existing market was instantly invalidated. It was, and still is, the high-end compact for discerning photographers who need portability, and any new review necessitates a comparison.
Pros:
- Good depth of field for a compact
- Convenient swiveling LCD
Cons:
- Handling can be tricky
- Drastic oversharpening is unnecessary

Samsung EX2F
Samsung is unusual in that it designs both smartphones and cameras. That means it knows what a smartphone can do and what a camera can do and, equally important, what each of them can't do very well.
Pros:
- Attractive design and ergonomic build with real grip
- Fast f/1.4 Schneider-Kreuznach 3.3x lens that starts at a wide 24mm equivalent
- Optical image stabilization
- Built-in ND filter
- Advanced controls
- including Command and Drive mode dials
- Popup flash
- with solid range that's helped by fast
Cons:
- JPEG rendering inconsistent and disappointing
- Tends to blow highlights
- No ISO button
- Few customization options
- Limited zoom reach (80mm eq.) compared to competitors
- Noise reduction interferes with details at ISO 800 and above
- No control over noise reduction
- Soft corners wide open
- Telephoto...
