Samsung EX2F review: Samsung EX2F
Even if you take your photography seriously, it's not always convenient to carry around a chunky dSLR, no matter how much you love having access to full manual controls and shooting in raw file formats.

Samsung EX2F review
Like the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7, the Samsung EX2F is a solid camera without being spectacular. It builds well on its predecessor and is an attractive proposition in many ways, such as its good build quality, fast and sharp lens, and variety of shooting modes.

The Samsung EX2F 24-80mm (equivalent) lens also has an even bigger maximum aperture than the Samsung EX1's optic, pushing up to f/1.4 from f/1.8. This means it has the largest aperture of any compact camera currently available.

- vari-angle LCD screen
- raw file capture
- good quality images
Cons:
- Inconsistent autofocus particularly with close-up focus
- Wi-Fi kills battery life
