Samsung ES80: Great For Capturing Those Special Moments
If you read my laptop review you'll probably know I'm not really au fait with technological advancements, so please excuse my lack of technical terms. This will be another jargon free review!

Samsung ES80
The Samsung ES80 has a 1/2.3"-type, twelve megapixel CCD image sensor, which is coupled to a Samsung-branded 5x optical zoom lens. The ES80's lens provides a 35mm-equivalent zoom range from a useful 27mm wide angle to a moderate 135mm telephoto, with actual focal lengths being 4.9 - 24.5mm.

Samsung ES80
The Samsung ES80 ($99.99 list) may not have all the bells and whistles found on more expensive cameras , but it manages to turn out good images at a modest price. It delivers sharp 12-megapixel images when used in good light, and its 5x zoom lens is an unusual feature for a camera in this class.
Pros:
- Rechargeable battery
- Sharp lens
- 5x optical zoom range
- Compact design
Cons:
- Poor high-ISO performance, video quality
- Low-resolution LCD
- Slow start-up time

This is a good little camera for the price. What I did not like is a SD card should have been a part of the package. Nonetheless, the SD card and a case will have to be purchase separately. So far all of the features are straight forward and simple to maneuver.
