Tablet/laptop hybrids are here, and the ATIV Tab leads Samsung's charge.
If you find yourself wishing that your tablet could handle all the stuff you'd normally be doing on a laptop, or want a tablet with a large screen for use around the house, the Samsung ATIVsmart PC Pro is a great start.

Samsung's Core i5-based Windows tablet performs well and is enjoyable to use
Samsung's Ativ Smart PC Pro 700T (XE700T1C-A02AU) is a Windows 8-based tablet that ships with a keyboard dock. It can be used either as a stand-alone tablet, or as a notebook if you need to do lots of typing.
Pros:
- Full HD screen
- Good performance
- Wacom digitiser pen
Cons:
- Reflections can be a problem
- Need an adapter to make use of the Micro HDMI port
- Ambient light sensor a little erratic

How big is it?
This is not a very helpful advert. Nowhere does it show the screen size. Usually the specs section shows a lot of detail about the computer and screen -- resolution, size, etc. Where is that here?

Samsung ativ keyboard
this small light and very compacte keyboard dock turns the ativ tablet into a fully funtinable laptop with half the weight makes it easier to travel with. Mpouse makes it easy touse in windows 7 mode, and the three usb posts make it fully versitile.

This thing is amazing!
It has a 5 second boot time, runs full version windows 8 pro and 1080p display and runs Photoshop flawlessly. I love my XE700t1c-A04US. I recommend this tablet to anyone that wants a superfast tablet. This model does not come with the detachable keyboard.

I like its flexibility and its ability to work like a laptop. I now use it With my external 1 TB HDD and I am much more productive because I can work from everywhere without feeling Iike I'm working.

Moderately Good Product
It's a sexy and reliable product. Definitely superior to the competitors especially if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Windows 8/8.1 kills the party
A lot of issues whether by the frustrating OS or by the hardware. See pros and cons. I think that none of windows based tablets are recommended at this point,as it is not optimized for pad like usability. I went crazy after just a couple of months. Bottom line, I do not recommend this tablet.
