Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T
If anyone should know how to make a Windows 8 tablet PC, it should be Samsung. Not only did the company see some success with its last Windows-powered device, their Series 7 Slate PC, but it also gained experience with the Android-based Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Note 10.1.- Powerful performance
- Compelling Samsung apps
- Sharp 1080p display
- Fast boot time
- Keyboard included
- Dock for stylus
- Relatively heavy
- Inconsistent touchpad
- Pricier than many Ultrabooks

Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro Review
H ybrid laptops seems to be the mantra for all laptop manufacturers these days. It's inevitable to not come out with one to counter competition. That's the reason why we're now witnessing a sudden flow of these convertible devices.
Exceeds Expectations

- Realistic color
- wacom s pen
- great battery life
- needs hdmi port on keyboard
This is a great piece of tech
This windows slate PC is pretty cool. I like it because it gives me all the benefit of a tablet with the computing power of a PC. I recently upgraded it to windows 8 and I like it even better.
Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro review: a capable Windows 8 tablet with S Pen support
The ATIV Smart PC Pro is a well-executed Windows 8 hybrid, with capable Core i5 performance and a comfortable keyboard and S Pen to see you through both work and play. We'd be more enthusiastic if Samsung kept the price south of $1,000, especially considering that the Acer Iconia W700 offers...- Strong performance
- Pen support with S Pen apps
- Comfortable keyboard
- Crisp 1080p display
- Unsophisticated design
- Middling battery life
Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T
Lisa Gade , Editor in Chief (twitter: @lisagade ) The Microsoft Surface Pro isn't the only Windows 8 Intel Core i5 tablet on the block. Samsung's ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T actually hit the market first, though it's not exactly peppering every retailer's shelf and is more readily found online.
Possibly the best Ivy Bridge Hybrid device
Great computer. The battery life is fantastic when you use the built in Samsung settings tool. Tell it to turn the fan to silent, then it keeps the CPU from generating heat or using a lot of power. I never noticed any lag when using it but a full 100% battery lasts longer than 6.5 hr.- Battery life, full keyboard, Wacom Stylus, 1080p, <2lbs for tablet, WiDi, microSD, 3USB ports (1xUSB3
- 2xUSB2 on dock
- Limited tilt angle in dock
- Solved with Microsoft wedge keyboard
