SSDs are getting more cost effective all the time--there's really not much reason to use spinning drives anymore--the extra speed is well worth the extra cost.

Lightning fast

This turned out to be kids play. I am far from being a PC Tech so i cant comment on speeds or alike. only a great storage upgrade on my Sony Vaio. I did cheekily use Crucial website to determine what SSD was installed.

I bought this Samsung EVO M.2 SSD to replace the 250 GB drive in my new ACER laptop. Using Samsung's clone software it only took 12 minutes to clone the drive. Using PassMark Performance test the results were: Old Disk 3486 New Disk 5367 It also uses less power so my battery life will be longer.

The 500gb SSD was an easy one screw physical instillation, then Samsung provides the data migration software which makes the software transfer easy, immediately noticed a good increase in the speed of my laptop.

Arrived quickly, installed easily, no issues at all. Great little SSD, descent size and a good price. If you just need a boot drive with some space for a few games, this is perfect.

Bought this to upgrade a REFURB Laptop. The SAMSUNG Migration software was a BREEZE to use. Was operational in no time!
