This product looked stylish and compact. It is very easy to use no matter what you need to weigh in the kitchen and it does not matter what bowl it is in either!

Due to its flat nature, this scale is great to use for the most part, I love being able to reset and add more ingredients in the same bowl, but sometimes it can be hard to read the output if your bowl is a bit big, so can see why the traditional style might be easier.

Thought Salter were a quality household brand so thought nothing of buying these. Not the most expensive, nor the cheapest. It was immediately clear usability isn't a priority for their designers, because the entire top of the scale is one piece, trying to reset to zero is ludicrously difficult.

I really like these scales, I had a set in the UK and have been unable to find the equivalent in Australia for a reasonable price. I find it very convenient to be able to measure liquids as well as solids and they are nice size and very sturdy.
