I always feel with fighter games, that they have to be top notch to be worth the money ,due to the lack of modes. Soul Calibur IV doesn't really manage it. Parents need to know that this is the latest in the swordfighting brawler franchise. Since the emphasis is on one-on-one fighting, there's a healthy dose of violence, although none of it is gory or bloody. Characters dress rather provocatively.

This is a great fighting game that has great feature for one player or two player. The Soul Calibur games basically reveolve around the power of the players sword, each player has different swords and attacks and some players have very impressive special attacks.
