This is actually one of the best games ever released on any Xbox console in my opinion. It's a cracking game, plenty of blood, severed limbs etc. But, all in all, it's well worth the money. It's so underrated.

At its heart, Ryse Son Of Rome is a brutal hack and slasher. You will chop a huge number of limbs off which can be quite satisfying in the gaming sense. As the game progresses you will learn new moves and combos and finishing moves to expand on your repertoire.
Ryse: Son of Rome brings with it enough visual pizzazz to impress anyone, though what you see is pretty much what you get.
Highly impressive graphics; Solid combat mechanic
Quick time based executions; Limited overall scale
Ryse: Son of Rome will allow you to act out your 300 or Spartacus fantasies, but at its core it is just a hack-n-slash game. The best element of the game is the stunning graphics that show you what the Xbox One will be able to deliver.
Nasty, brutish and short, Ryse: Son of Rome has emerged from a seven-year development hell as a visually resplendent, preternaturally dumb action game that exhibits a galling, monotonous bloodlust.
Yes it screams "I used to be a Kinect game", yes it's limited in story as well as combat and yes, you've played many, many games like this previously, better games with more systems and gameplay but...but...crucially, Ryse: Son of Rome looks breathtaking.
