One of this month's free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers is Rocket League, an exciting new combination of soccer and RC cars that's easy to learn but difficult to master. Rocket League feels like an old Tyco commercial meeting modern day gaming, and quite frankly it's awesome.

Despite some small issues surrounding the function of Rocket League, the core game itself is a blast. If you have friends either online, or local to play with, you'll have a lot of fun. There are some small hiccups to be had, but they can hopefully be ironed out with some patches.

Sometimes, it's the simplest concepts that are the most fun in video games. Rocket League, the new game from Psyonix, developers of PS3 title ‘Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars', with it's physics based car football, is very much proof of that.
