RIDE Review

RIDE's single-player game is set out as a World Tour, with events arranged broadly according to bike category and down to power, cylinders or age within that. The menus are clear and easy to navigate,

Great handling model; Plenty of bikes; Varied events

Long loading times; Difficulty issues; Vague explanations

Ticket to RIDE

There isn't a great deal of choice for motorbike lovers who want to enjoy the subject on a console. It's kind of strange, really-when it comes to the feeling of sheer speed, there's little to compare with jumping on a Kawasaki Ninja and blasting off the starting line.

Nailing a succession of corners at high speed without sliding off the bike like a total klutz

Encountering several nasty glitches within the first hour of turning it on

This spiritual successor to Tourist Trophy delivers exciting and challenging racing action that's thoroughly enjoyable. However, graphics that feel more last generation than this, rather weak sound, and very slow loading times take the edge off the overall experience. 3.5 /5

Ride

Well presented on the PlayStation 4, Ride is the latest motorcycle game for this next-gen console which has some parallels to the car game Gran Turismo with a plethora of customisation options and gaming modes with to 16 riders.

RIDE IS A MOTORCYCLISTS DREAM GAME

If you ride a sport bike, and miss the feeling of Tourist Trophy from PS2, then this will blow your mind! Graphics are excellent, bike sounds are pretty close, physics are good, and it's overall a great game. Only complaint is I wish they had more custom options.

"Ride suffers the same problems as the past few Gran Turismo titles - great physics buried under lifeless presentation and long load times."

Best bike racer to date!

Even better than the Mega Drive's Road Rash! A brilliant game, through hard to master at times, is rewarding to any bike lover. Not as 'pick up and play' as a car game, but well worth sticking with, especially on Pro mode. Great bikes and models, good graphics and sound... What more can you ask for!

Great game for biker's when it's raining

Into my bike's in a big way and this is a cheaper option to own a whole fleet of bike's in the comfort of your own home lol.

RIDE review

There's no doubting Milestone's enthusiasm for the sport, and it's clear that RIDE is very much a game for the fans. The problem however is that it's bogged down by bad AI and poor design choices, while lacking the sort of atmosphere we expect from a racing game.

+ Some great; complex racing features that should appeal to the sport's fanatics; + Great course design

- Disappointing visuals; - Poor animation physics; - Terrible AI
