Pleasant to play and easy to pick up. However, the last-gen feeling and lack of atmosphere mean Ride is only a mid-pack racer.

A fun arcade-style bike simulator, nice detail in the graphics, bike handling is fairly accurate while game play is reasonably fast paced. The one major let-down with this game is the load times, get ready to WAIT around a while for each race to load.

All of which feeds into Ride's bigger problem. There's not quite enough here to satisfy bike lovers, and certainly nothing to make bike lovers of the merely curious. Ride isn't a failure, but nor is a particularly great game, and like Milestone's previous efforts it's a noble attempt that just falls...

Reus has a dash of monsters, a pinch of management and a whole helping of fun. Together these elements all work together to bring a polished and enjoyable product to the Xbox One.
