Good game for motorcycle junkies. I can;t see people who don;t like motorcycles to get into this game. This should be a 2.5-3 stars, but I'll give it a 4 because I like bikes!
I (kinda) wanna take you for a ride You are logged out. Login | Sign up Winning races and earning money to buy bikes just to compete in more races and earn more money was the greatest time trial of all. [This review is based on a retail build of the game provided by the publisher.]
A fun arcade-style bike simulator, nice detail in the graphics, bike handling is fairly accurate while game play is reasonably fast paced. The one major let-down with this game is the load times, get ready to WAIT around a while for each race to load.
I have went through basically every feature in the trial for this game and it is incredible. It has settings to either make a great sim (Realistic mode), and settings to just have fun and race for entertainment. The customization was one of my personal favorite features and it is very in depth.
All of which feeds into Ride's bigger problem. There's not quite enough here to satisfy bike lovers, and certainly nothing to make bike lovers of the merely curious. Ride isn't a failure, but nor is a particularly great game, and like Milestone's previous efforts it's a noble attempt that just falls...
