[DLC] Red Faction: Guerrilla - Demons of the Badlands

A golden opportunity to really expand on the back story of Mars pre- Guerrilla feels tragically wasted here. While there's definitely some fun (and destruction) to be had, it's not the kind one would (or should) pay ten bucks for -- if even five.

Red Faction: Guerrilla (PS3)

The last few weeks have seen the release of a veritable bounty of free-roaming, open-world games that have each brought their own unique hook or feature to a genre mostly dominated by the Grand Theft Auto series.

Red Faction: Guerrilla

Check out the video review. In 2001, the original Red Faction introduced gamers to a futuristic version of life on Mars. Eight years have passed since then, and technology has improved dramatically.

Red Faction Guerrilla Review

Taken as a whole, the net result is a generous game that remains fun despite its frustrations, yet never quite achieves its full potential. Think of it as the game that Mercenaries 2 should have been.

Red Faction Guerrilla

The art of revolution rests at the heart of Volition's . You play Alec Mason, a miner on Mars whose rebel brother is killed by the oppressive Earth Defence Force (EDF). To avenge his death and free the Martians from the EDF's strangle hold on the planet you join Red Faction, the freedom fighters/...

A wealth of single and multiplayer content; Its Geo Mod 2.0 engine allows for 100% destructible environments

Missions do start to feel repetitive and online multiplayer modes are restricted to 16 players

Killing Floor

I have tried to find the difference between the commercial and the free versions of Killing Floor . Apart from the commercial game being tied to Steam, I can't find any difference at all. So the question is, what does the game have to offer to its punters? It beats me.

Free Mars or Death! RFG delivers a highly polished game experience, a fantastic destruction engine and a solid science fiction story that is all wrapped up in a sandbox game world. It also delivers cutting-edge action packed destruction based multiplayer

Guerrilla is the third game in the rather successful Red Faction series. The series has been a staple in the industry not just for it's high review scores (due to being great games), but it's well known because of it's destruction system.
