This is made even more annoying by the fact that there are relatively few story missions in Red Faction: Guerrilla (when compared to other sandbox games) and the side-quests can get very repetitive.

on the PS2 and it went on to much critical and commercial acclaim, no doubt thanks to the Geo-Mod technology which allowed you to blow holes in the ground and walls of buildings thereby creating new pathways and destroying cover for enemy soldiers.
The art of revolution rests at the heart of Volition's . You play Alec Mason, a miner on Mars whose rebel brother is killed by the oppressive Earth Defence Force (EDF). To avenge his death and free the Martians from the EDF's strangle hold on the planet you join Red Faction, the freedom fighters/...
A wealth of single and multiplayer content; Its Geo Mod 2.0 engine allows for 100% destructible environments
Missions do start to feel repetitive and online multiplayer modes are restricted to 16 players
The last few weeks have seen the release of a veritable bounty of free-roaming, open-world games that have each brought their own unique hook or feature to a genre mostly dominated by the Grand Theft Auto series.
A great action game for those that love total destruction.
Great Graphics and action
Story and A.I; may be to thin for some
Only my second game review: experienced gamers will bear with me if my terminology isn't quite right. This is a third-person-shooter: the market is flooded with this type of game so this one had a lot to live up to.
Red planet, a quest for revenge, a sledgehammer and an unexplored landscape to plunder...Mars calls.
A golden opportunity to really expand on the back story of Mars pre- Guerrilla feels tragically wasted here. While there's definitely some fun (and destruction) to be had, it's not the kind one would (or should) pay ten bucks for -- if even five.
If you like the sound of detonating tons of explosives and tearing appart buildings this game is sooo for you! This game being the third in its series is far superior and different to the first which i believe was released in 2001?!
Great in terms of constant action and explosive scenes; Good simple fun
weak plot & Character development; lacks artistically in graphics
Red Faction: Guerrilla is some of the best fun you're going to have this generation. There's plenty to get through in the single-player story and a deep multiplayer component to keep you playing it for a while.
