This game is awesome! Yeah, it may not be as polished as other games according to today's standards of what a game should or shouldn't be, but it really stands out on it's own and separates itself from the rest.

I haven't finished the game, so my score may change later. But 5 hours in I'm loving this game. So many mechanics from Metroid Prime, which evokes memories of great games of yesteryear. I don't know how gruesome the end game will be, but I gotta say I'm loving the journey along the way.
With proper optimization this game could be soared because outside of the stiff animation, long loading times and pop in this game has me fairly addicted. Definitely could be us3d a few more months in the oven
Its a while since a decent platformer has come along. Recore is a fun game with great graphics. However it is beset with glitches, poor loading times (dreadful). A great game to rent. Not serious at all no guides or walkthroughs needed
The game itself is quite a graphical masterpiece - freedom to roam and explore, and good enemy interaction. The mystery and wonder does trail off toward the end however and turns into a bit of a platformer, which, while it is fun, is a bit of a sudden change to the gameplay.
Starts out fun and refreshing, but the CONSTANT crap popping out of the sand with the same music EVERY time gets really old really quickly. The missions take way too long, and it's really frustrating when you get trapped in a Boss fight and you WISH you could leave it to go do side missions and...
Was a fun new experience not offered in most games. Many of the features are underwhelming and could of been improved upon. Had a lot more potential than what it is.
On time delivery. The game is just fine not that good as expected.
ReCore has been a highly anticipated Xbox One release ever since its initial unveiling at E3. The game looked great, with a cinematic trailer that promised
Interesting and enjoyable characters; Engaging world; Old school gameplay
Abysmal loading times; Assorted technical issues; Roadblocks galore
ReCore feels like a game grappling with insecurity over its length. Clocking in at around eight hours, it's a modest action game in which players, along with robotic companions called CoreBots, explore dungeons to find power-ups and progress through the story.
Shooting feels fast; frenetic; and satisfying; CoreBots are charming characters; Lots of small touches of environmental storytelling
Crashes and UI bugs; Long loading times; Fetch quest detracts from the whole experience
