The exclusive Guerlain fragrance Nuit d'Amour turned out to be a fairly predictable floral oriental, but nothing could have prepared me for the new Ralph Lauren masculine, a sensual and unconventional offering.

Polo Double Black ( For Men ) by Ralph Lauren
Ellen Molner created this fragrance. This was released in 2006. This was a sequel to the original Polo Black. The scent features top notes of pepper and mango. The heart is ruled by Indonesian nutmeg and coffee. The base is composed of juniper, cardamom and woodsy notes.

Ralph Lauren Polo Double Black
Just sampled the 8ml EDT mini. Have to agree with a previous poster; nearly...but not quite. An honest attempt to be sure, but "Intense, Powerful, Engaging", no. "Laid Back, Reserved and Polite" would better describe this fragrance.

give it a try
very good and unique but poooooor longevity one of the best from ralph lauren if it comes to smell only great mango opening but longevity & projection ohhhh shame on you ralph lauren why always that problem in your fragrance smell 9 / 10 long 5 / 10 proj 5 / 10

The first bottle of Double Black that I bought for my husband was absolutely wonderful. I loved it. Then I bought another and it didn't even smell the same. The formula has either been changed or this is not genuine. Very disappointed. Smell was ok.

I have been looking for this for ages but thought I could only get it abroad. Glad I finally got it in the UK.

It was a blind buy for what it claims - Mango and Coffee
It was a blind buy as I could not find any testers in any the local stores. I was attracted by it description and also after watching several review videos about coffee scent perfume. I was disappointed as I could not smell any hints of mango nor coffee nor nutmeg as how it was described.
Pros:
- Clean & Fresh
- Not Overpowering
Cons:
- Doesn't Hold
- Too Weak

My dad loved it!!!
Bought for my dad for his birthday, he absolutely loves this cologne and its been a while since he had some and was thrilled when I gave it to him!!!
