First-person shooters are a dime a dozen these days, and it's clear the genre is possibly starting to suffer fatigue. But now, FPS veterans id software, known for Quake, Doom and Wolfenstein - 3 key innovators in the FPS genre, bring a new game to the table called Rage.

I'm not much of a game reviewer but Rage has defiantly left me feeling hungry for more. This game could have had so much to offer the audience with the big guns of developers such as Bethesda and ID studios. A separate disc for multi-player?

I'm actually quite surprised how much I liked Rage. I knew id was going to release a solid title, but Rage sometimes borders on spectacular. It's such a great change of pace from the Modern Warfares and Battlefields that occupy the gaming landscape, and the shooting gameplay only serves to remind us...

I was so excited for this game and OMG Pure crap, the ending is just epic failure and so is the last level to add to that. Avoid this game at all costs maybe if its like $4.99 at Kmark shit bin.

I'm sorry id Software. I was wrong about you. When Bethesda gave me an opportunity to get hands-on with the first few hours of RAGE at QuakeCon, I walked away from the game unimpressed.

Do you realize it has been since 2004 since id Software has released a game?   Doom 3 was handled by the folks at id, but Quake IV and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars was handled by Raven and Splash Damage, respectively.  Doom 3 was very well received by the press and public alike.

I have to concur with others when they say that this should be ‘game of the year'. Great graphics. good soundtrack. very quick and responsive, no lag during the game at all. I like the homage they pay to other games with the little clues to there origins within the game.
