This game has a lengthy single player campaign. You can save frequently throughout the campaign so you can replay old missions, providing great replay value. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it's much darker in tone than I expected. I got it for $10 because it has been around for years.

Very Good Game!

If you love Prey you will love this game. it's like Prey's twin brother. this game is outdated but is still very fun. The only big difference between Quake IV and Prey is that it's WAY harder than Prey! Great game for the money.

A really memorable game that seems to get a little repetitive by the end. The multiplayer on pc is really where this game shines. It is a well-done sequel to the legendary quake franchise, but doesn't live up to the depth and quality of the Doom 3 campaign, developed near the same time with the same...

I am tired of people saying this is an id game. it may be published by id software, but id had NOTHING to do with making this game. This game was made by Raven. Who makes Singularity and the newest Wolfienstien reboot (both are fun games).

Matthew Kane = Strogg = Mindless Shooting Fun

A very fun, brain numbing, alien blaster.

Quake 4 - By JWLionKing

Age Rating Mature 17 In Quake 4 you play as a space marine named Matthew Kane who has recently been assigned to Rhino Squad. In keeping with firstperson shooter storyline tradition Kane doesnt speak but the marines around you will more than make up for the lack of chatter coming out of Kanes lips.

Quake IV

good to play in short bursts, as the game gets tedious very quickly. the puzzles are just irritating as you just want to shoot, not go back and forth getting lost in all these different corridors. graphics are good, but are basically slightly better than doom 3 wich isnt much on the 360.

Quake 4

Don't know about you but I was kind of disappointed by Doom 3, sure it looked fantastic but it didn't feel enough like the old Doom games to really get my adrenalin pumping. As a Quake fan of old I was therefore hoping that this supposedly all-singing 360 version (that returns to the story-driven...

Some brilliant set pieces; The weapons are great; well; of them; Fun vehicle levels break up the action; The Strogg are a great enemy; Quake 2 comes with it

Frame rate problems soon arise; Extremely linear; The monorail chase – it's one of; gaming moments you'll never forget; Awful old-school unconnected multiplayer mode

Nothing New Here But Still Enjoyable

Quake 4 takes place in a future in which a race known as the Strogg is cutting its way through the galaxy attacking one world after another. Well, we humans will have none of that and attack the Strogg with the full brunt of our military, and the hammer to the Strogg's anvil is the Space Marines.
