Bought this to replace an old amp with a bad channel. Used for overflow speakers in our church lobby ceiling. Inputs and outputs were totally compatible with our system's existing wiring, making it a simple hook-up. It worked perfectly right out of the box.

The QSC GX-3 amplifier is a clean and powerful amp that offers legendary QSC quality on a budget. I've been using the GX-3 as a 2-channel monitor amp for live gigs running 4-5hrs per night. I've also employed its big brother (the GX-5) as a mains amp in the same setup.

This is a great amp! I am using it in a youth room at church. Two main speakers are hooked up to it and it works great. Barely have it turned up and it fills the room with sound. I would agree with others about the humming sound.

This is a great amp for a high-fidelity, power-hungry system, and the 6-yr warranty caps it off! FYI I am an audio/HT enthusiast, and will spend money on good picture/sound, but always looking for the best deal. It is driving Magnepan 1.7 speakers, which are quite power-hungry.

I have burned through several cheep amps, Pyle, Gemini, and a low end Peavey, and I was ready for something built to last. The QSC beat out Crown and Mackie at the same price point and wattage due to its input-output flexibility. It is built like a tank, and it has all the safety features I require.

Purchased three years ago, I do not regret it. The sound is good, the device compact, rack mountable in 19 'and has a connector adapted to (almost) all possibilities. Only drawback, at a party, it is put repeatedly safe (both channels) while he was on for a short time and at half power.

This amp sounded great, and produced just the kind of power I was looking for. My only issue with it was that the fan is really noisey, if you have a sound proof cabinet you will be fine but if not, this amp will distract you
