Fun game, fair price. I'm more of a Tetris man but I'm enjoying the Puyo action as well.

So, you've got yourself a PS4 or a brand spanking new Nintendo Switch . Do you really want to splash out on an old-fashioned arcade puzzle game, even with if mashes up two of the best-loved puzzlers out there
Feast of solo; multiplayer and online game modes; Mash-up approach to classic gameplay; Adventure mode teachers you to play with skill and strategy; Another brilliant Switch sofa party game
Too expensive on the Switch; Analogue controls cause silly errors
Tetris is one of the most popular puzzle games in the world. It probably doesn't need much of an introduction, but I'll give it one anyway. You match up different descending shapes to fill a line. In filling up a line you cause it to disappear.
Lots to do; Great multiplayer; Lovely style
Online population isn't great on PlayStation 4; Adventure mode story isn't the most captivating; Not as fun in single player
The crossover between the two classic puzzlers is a bit of a gimmick, but the huge range of modes for both games makes this the best version of either for years.
Great versions of two timeless puzzle games; Huge range of single and multiplayer modes, including new options and all the old classics; Simple, attractive presentation and robust online
The Switch version is unfairly expensive; Fusion mode is not particularly fun, and the least entertaining aspect of the package
Despite its appearance as your average, colourful puzzle game, Puyo Puyo Tetris actually offers a much deeper challenge than other games in the genre can muster. Sega's Tetris and Puyo Puyo mashup also excels at local multiplayer, so there's every reason to take a closer look.
Remember those early Nintendo Switch promotional videos we all made fun of The ones where grinning, Joy-Con-gripping millennials giddily gathered around the console at a rooftop party Well, if you pick up Puyo Puyo Tetris , plan on becoming one of those blissfully smiling idiots.
Tetris is a classic almost as old as gaming, having first released in 1984 before making its first appearance on Nintendo hardware in 1988. Puyo Puyo is comparatively new, but has a legacy all its own.
Great fun, can't go wrong with Tetris or Puyo Puyo really. Fun graphics and entertaining for all ages. I took 1 star away due to the price which is a little expensive for what it is! Would be perfect at £20.
In the pantheon of timeless video game franchises, there are few that are as hard to screw up as Tetris and Puyo Puyo (or Kirby's Avalanche , for you arcade purists). They are both well-respected torchbearers of the puzzle game genre, and the fact that people of all ages still lovingly play them is...
Tetris and Puyo Puyo each play well; Great style and aesthetics; Tons of unlockables
Poorly written; Grating voice acting; Tetris and Puyo combine poorly
A great Tetris game! The colours are brilliant and online play is really fun. Puyo Puyo is really fun too. If you are a long time Tetris fan or just starting out then you will love this game for the Switch!
