Bit of a hassle changing 33 to 45

I bought this turntable after returning my ATLP120 due to its anti-skating being defective. I knew with this model there was no built in pre-amp, but a phono box seemed like a welcome upgrade after enjoying the sound so much from my LP120.

I highly recommend this item not only for its price but for the quality of the sound as well.Overall the general quality is very good.

For a taste of what a truly audiophile turntable can do for not so much money, try a Pro-Ject… in this case, the Essential III

I originally purchased a U-Turn turntable but could not get rid of the hum so I returned it and purchased this turntable. It works beautifully and the sound I get is incredible. I have it connected to a Carver TFM-15 cb amp and Carver CT-6 preamp powering Polk Audio bookshelf speakers.

I don't know much about hi-fi but I know what I like (unfortunately it's not always in sync with my budget!) Luckily for me Vaughan sure knows his stuff, he was super helpful, informative and just a pleasure to deal with both over the phone and at the shop.
