Love all in this game. Beautiful graphic and a lot of game mode for play. I like play club because we can play and strategic in this mode!! Fantastic!!

We are a month on from the release of Konami's annual iteration of Pro Evolution Soccer , the least successful of the two "big" football releases of the year, but this year seemingly the stronger performing title. The ‘other' title I refer to in this instance is FIFA , in case you didn't know.

Pro Evolution Soccer 16 has been a joy to play. This year marks one for the books in the series as gameplay and presentation have taken major steps forward. Not to say everything is perfect because some of the additions still lack that certain sparkle to be completely polished.

"Simple controls and slick animations."

There's been a battle happening in the gaming world and that fight is on the virtual soccer pitch between Konami and EA Sports . The games in question are PES and FIFA , two excellent gaming franchises that both have their pros and cons which successfully recreate the game of soccer.

A few minor issues aside, once again, Konami has delivered when it comes to the gameplay. Not only is PES 2016 a high point for the series, it's the best football game I've ever played.

Pro Evolution Soccer is finally back to its best, in what is undoubtedly one of the greatest sports games of all-time.

The new physics system is fantastic and changes every aspect of the game for the better; Last year's lag issues have been fixed and Master League is also back on form

Some strangely lenient refs and a curious lack of fouls from computer plays; Goalies can be a bit unreliable; Graphics could be better when viewed at a distance

"I had to hit it". Said apologetically, by way of explanation, sometimes when no one else is in the room. These are the kind of exclamations you find come pouring forth when you play Pro Evolution Soccer.

Ah PES , Pro Evolution Soccer , Winning Eleven , formerly ISS , what a history you've had. What a 20 years you've had in the gaming industry. A past filled with triumphs in the early to mid 2000's with some of the greatest releases known to man and to the Beautiful Game.
