Best Pokemon Game In Years!

It's pretty good

Pokemon Legends Arceus is what I imagined pokemon games to be like as a kid. The graphics, while not being AAA worthy to put it lightly, is still better than all previous iterations.The sparse open areas allow for much more freedom than traditional pokemon games, even though it's not truly open world like Zelda BOTW. The gameplay itself is nothing impressive being the traditional turn-based mechanics. I'm only 3-4 hours in, but i'm already enjoying the game heaps, and excited for future versions of this new format.

Firstly, JB delivered my game fast and in perfect quality which was impressive. Secondly, this game is glorious. Pokemon did something different that honestly made for the perfect game for anyone who was getting tired of the old pokemon formula. It feels like what your first pokemon game ever felt like when you were a kid and feels so immersive and full of life. If you've never played pokemon, this is what we all wanted and they did such an awesome job.

I had more fun in this title than any of previous turn based pokemon combined. The game Shifted from turn based combat into survival exploration. You have to pay attention to every element of your surrounding or else you have to find your way to escape from a sticky situation.

Legends Arceus is EXCITING, immersive and it transcends much of the recent entries. The gameplay is refreshing, enjoyable and nerve-racking at times; the trailers don't capture the awesome experience you'll have. HOWEVER, it needs a decent amount of improvement. If Gamefreak continues down this fresh route, they should double down on the survival theme and make the battles live action, rather than a revised turn based style (still love the tweaked battle system tho). They also need to work on their textures and lighting since the environment can become dull and muddy. Needless to say, NUMEROUS locations plus all the new animations for Pokémon and moves are simply stunning. I’ll find it hard to return to traditional Pokémon games after I finished this gameplay. Definitely worth the purchase

This game takes a lot of cues from Zelda BOTW, and boy I'm glad it did. This is a very different pokemon game from past entries, but Gamefreak managed to do a really good job with it.
