Good quality, good craftsmanship
I first bought SteelSeries H5 V2s to replace my ancient Plantronics that lasted me 6 years. Complete crap. No base, terrible quality, bad mic. Then I looked at going back to the brand that served me so well, and I don't regret it.

The Plantronics GameCom 780: Good quality for low price-tag
"...really need to. But, the Plantronics GameCom 780 takes care of all my wishes and problems. Costs around £40 (I got it for £35 last October) on Amazon, it boasts a virtual 7.1 system, and it's also a headset, aka, it includes a microphone.

Pretty good
I took a chance getting these knowing they were not true surround sound, but with various positive comments I decided to give them a go. First off they do look very plastic, they do not have a premium look to them, however they are comfortable to wear.

Generally both playback and recording quality is good. Not outstanding, but good.
Queen, Robbie Williams, Celine Dion, Helene Fischer, Yanni, Amy Macdonald, Celtic Woman, Pink Martini... they all have one thing in common. Great music. Fantastic sound. Especially live. And I absolutely love live music.

Good
I have Windows 7. I don't believe these are compatible with it. I installed the drivers from the CD and had sound issues. Uninstalled them and let Windows install drivers and no issues after that. Great head set. Sound is wonderful. Mic is good. I've had them for about a month now.

Epic Headset !
This headset is the best headset you can have at this price! Benn playing Skyrim and Battlefield 3 and the 7.1 surround is fantastic, you hear where the sound came from! This is the best deal ever!

Great sound, Great mic
The sound is very clear, you can hear all footsteps while in game and movies/music are perfect for these. The only thing lacking was the bass. The bass is there and it sounds great but it does not have the stronger oomf I hoped for.
