Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2

The original BackBeat PRO headphones from Plantronics were ambitious, offering noise cancellation and Bluetooth connectivity almost two years before Bose would try it with the QuietComfort 35 . They impressed us on a technical level, but the noise cancellation itself fell a bit short.

Affordable for wireless, noise-canceling headphones; Full, balanced audio; Solid noise cancellation

Noise cancellation isn't quite on par with Bose

Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 review

The original Plantronics BackBeat Pro headphones were loved for its variety of features, good sound and good active noise cancellation (ANC). They weren't perfect, but they offered a compelling package for travelers.

Incredible 24 hour battery life; Multi-point Bluetooth; Amiable sound

Bass overwhelming at times; Styling not for everyone

Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 Review

The original BackBeat PRO headphones from Plantronics were ambitious, offering noise cancellation and Bluetooth connectivity almost two years before Bose would try it with the QuietComfort 35. They impressed us on a technical level, but the noise cancellation itself fell a bit short. The BackBeat PRO 2 fixes that issue, and improves everything else about the headphones in the process. They're less bulky, more comfortable, sound fantastic, and at $199.99, just over half the price of the QuietComfort 35. Bose is still the brand to beat when you want the best noise cancellation possible, but for value, comfort, and performance, the BackBeat PRO 2 is our Editors' Choice for affordably priced noise-canceling wireless headphones. DesignThe BackBeat PRO 2 is noticeably slimmer and sleeker than the original BackBeat PRO, and the brown color scheme is striking in a retro sense (a silver Special Edition is available for $249.99). The over-ear earcups are about two-thirds the size of the or...

The Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 headphones combine solid noise cancellation with Bluetooth connectivity, excellent sound, and a comfortable fit, all at a very reasonable price.

Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 review: A lot of headphone for the price

Solid performer, solid sound, great build, insane battery life, super noise canceling and just under $200USD yields a must buy.

The noise canceling works really well for this price point; sound is amazing with a good amount of bass; well made and good feel/comfort

There's very little to complain about here; the design does take some time to get used to and we do wish they were foldable but that's about it

The Best All Arounder!!!

These Are feature rich...and when i say that i mean i was in the hunt for some over ear headsets with ANC but i wanted to be able to hear the outside noise without taking off my headset and not doing a silly gesture like putting my hand over my earcup to activate it and for it to stay active as i...

Great headphones, with a few flaws

I ordered these to replace my aging (but still useful) Sony MDR-1RBT headphones. Here are my thoughts: The good: Very comfortable - they feel much lighter than the Sonys and I feel as though I could wear them all day.

Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 Bluetooth wireless headphones with on-demand active noise cancelling A2DP (limit stock) Dual microphones with DSP Up to: 24 hours of listening time, six months DeepSleep

These are great, especially for the price. I use them daily for several hours and they lasted just over a week on the first charge. Sound and volume is awesome and the earcup controls work well

Sounds as good as it looks

Bought it a month ago to replace my sons headphones and he loves the sound and how user friendly it was. The battery life is another feature. He rates as the best headphone he has ever owned!
