Plantronics BackBeat Go Review - Almost the Perfect Bluetooth Earbuds
Five years ago I bought a pair of A2DP headsets, oddly enough alongside the purchase of a Dell XPS M1730. They were Dell BH200 stereo headests, essentially a rebrand of some Logitech models that were modern at the time.

Plantronics BackBeat Go review: musical cord
Stereo Bluetooth headphones are generally not the smallest, usually they are either on-ear or over-ear. The simple reason for that is that there needs to be space for the Bluetooth module and battery. Plantronics has managed to create in-ear Bluetooth headphones, including a built-in microphone.

Plantronics Earphones
Expensive to say the least! Ok the pros (there aren't many): * Picks up blue tooth and syncs quickly * Small and compact cons: * After numerous occasions of trying to work out if they fit in your ear ok, I give up!

Plantronics BackBeat Go
The featherweight BackBeat Go ($99.99) is a stereo Bluetooth headset equally adept at voice calls, listening to music or podcasts, and watching movies without disturbing anyone nearby. In fact, it's the best stereo Bluetooth headset we've ever used for phone calls, period.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Lightweight
- Excellent voice quality and noise suppression in both directions
- Tangle-free cord really works.
Cons:
- Ultra-soft earbud tips make it difficult to get the right fit
- Some cable thump when walking.

Plantronics BackBeat Go
The bottom line The Plantronics BackBeat Go is a stereo Bluetooth headset that provides excellent phone call quality but only a mediocre stereo music listening experience. Its small, lightweight body is unobtrusive and comfortable, and its noise cancelling technology eliminates most outside sounds.
Pros:
- Excellent voice quality
- Comfortable and small
- Tangle-free cord connects two earbuds
Cons:
- Average music quality
- Earbuds are very soft

Just what I needed and was looking for. Sound is great. I just am hoping they hold up. I had a pair of ericsons previously that did not last more than 3 months of light usage.
