These get one star from me because zero wasn't an option. I had high hopes for these as I have had other Plantronics products in the past. When connected to any bluetooth source, there was a steady, metallic humming in the left ear that would not go away.
While Bluetooth earphones and headphones are nothing new, there are even more customers in the hunt than ever before. Plantronics has a history of audio that goes as far back to when man first landed on the moon. It pours those decades of experience into the BackBeat Go 3 wireless earbuds.
No cables; relatively compact; good battery life; charge case
Bass could be better
Going from BackBeat GO 2 to BackBeat GO 3 , the ear tips design is a major improvement. Rather than having them dangling perpendicular to your ears, the new design may look peculiar at first, but gives you a much better fit and comfort (though it somehow makes the size larger).
I got the Blue color, but that okay. It's looks good. Battery life - about 5 hours with a full charge. Battery case - can charge the earphones 3 times easily. Sound quality - the mids are too powerful, but after changing the EQ settings, it sounds good.
Last year Plantronics put out affordable wireless on-ear headphones called the BackBeat 500 Series that sounded decent and fit comfortably -- for an on-ear model anyway. Now the company has brought the same value concept to an over-ear design with the BackBeat Go 600 , which costs $100 or £90 and...
The Plantronics BackBeat Go 600 are lightweight, comfortable over-ear Bluetooth headphones that sound decent and work well for making calls; You can toggle between more neutral or bass-boosted sound modes
Bass lacks a little definition; The earcups can show scratches
Absolute power corrupts absolutely; lack of power is just freakin' annoying. The new Plantronics BackBeat GO 3 is a wireless, sweatproof earbud that solves the lack of power problem in a unique and clever way.
6hr listen time give or take, shorter if using them during calls Uses bluetooth - drains phone battery quickly Recharge pack is a huge plus when travelling Easy to install Easy to use
ended up returning mine when they wouldn't hold charge. after a day or two of no use they'd be dead, not even low power, just straight up dead. other than that they were quite tidy, the recharge baggy was nice albeit a touch small to comfortably (for my liking at least) fit the earbuds in.
They work splendidly and from a fair distance! When I have my phone charging at work it's 10 metres away from my office and the connection is really good and sounds clear as a bell.
