Plantronics BackBeat Fit Boost Edition

The Plantronics BackBeat Fit Boost Edition earphones comes with a cool charging case, but the in-ear fit really kills the audio experience. You might be able to hear your surroundings, but it's at the cost of bass response.

Carrying pouch features rechargeable battery; Open design allows you to hear your surroundings; Waterproof

Subpar audio performance; So-so mic intelligibility; Only ships with one pair of eartips

Plantronics BackBeat Fit 300

Plantronics describes its BackBeat Fit 300 Series ($80, £90, AU$120) as "one of the world's lightest Bluetooth headphones designed to easily transition between fitness and everyday life.

The affordable Plantronics BackBeat Fit is a lightweight, sweatproof Bluetooth headphone designed for gym and everyday use that sounds good and fits comfortably; A nice carrying pouch is included

Inline remote is large and little clunky; Because of the design of the remote, this headphone isn't ideal for running

Plantronics BackBeat Fit Boost Edition Review: High Price, Mixed Performance

The Plantronics BackBeat Fit Boost Edition offers steady bass and ergonomics but not much else to warrant its high expense.

Flexible; sturdy design; Improved bass response; Good call quality; Portable and waterproof charging pouch

Mids and highs are weak; Inconvenient control setup; No additional ear tips; Too expensive

Plantronics Backbeat FIT sports headset review

Plantronics is no strangers to Bluetooth headsets. Their lineup includes several wireless varieties, so the options within their offerings alone are impressive. Does their BackBeat FIT do the lineup justice, though We go ears-on (on ears) to find out whether or not this one is a winner or not.

Great customer service.

So I bought this one 6 months ago as a replacement for another almost two hundred euros headphone, which broke immediately after I bought it because of a little contact with rain. Hoping that the FIT 500 would live up to its claim of being sweat-proof (also rainproof I hoped). And it did!

Great headphones for running and working out

Great headphones for running and working out. Sound quality is good and controls are easy to figure out. I lost my previous headphones and immediately re-ordered the same ones.

Plantronics BackBeat FIT review

If you're looking for a pair of wireless headphones to take out running, then check out our Plantronics BackBeat FIT review Bluetooth headphones are often poor. The compromises between battery life and weight are tough, while the bugginess of Bluetooth makes them in turn ill-behaved.

Practicality; Design; Battery life

Price; Flexi connector

Love these headphones - these are my second pair

Love these headphones - these are my second pair. First pair gave me almost three years of solid use both at the gym and on many runs - the longest a pair of sports headphones has ever lasted me. Never fell out, easy to use and a good sound.

Battery life is better than previous version

Volume output is not loud enough to watch movies/tv. Battery life is better than previous version.
