Philips PH805 review

The PH805s look and feel more expensive than they are, and they get way more right (in sonic terms) than they get wrong. If you want a decisive step up in performance, get ready to double your money.

Bluetooth 5.0; 30-hour battery life; Active noise-cancelling; Punchy, expressive sound; Look the part;

So-so noise-cancellation; Not the most dynamic listen;

Philips PH805 Review

In nearly every respect, the Philips PH805 wireless headphones outperform their price point with punchy sound and a decent set of specs.

Well made from good materials; Decent spec; Punchy, full-fat and subtle sound;

Ho-hum noise-cancelling; Could sound more dynamic;

Not quite the complete package but a diverting option nevertheless, the PH805s are well worth a listen

Controlled, full-bodied sound, Decent battery life, Good looks and build

Could handle more dynamism, Mild noise-cancellation

Philips HI-RES Wireless Over-Ear (ANC) Headphones - Black TAPH805BK review

Philips PH805 sounds good for the price even if they didn't have noise reduction.

Very fast charging despite micro-USB. Good sound quality. Comfortable on the head.

Feels like plastic. Micro-USB charging. No app. Sensitive touch controls.

Philips HI-RES Wireless Over-Ear (ANC) Headphones - Black TAPH805BK review

Well the Verdict on these particular Headphones is…..In all my reviews I always keep my bias out of the way. I always look at what the company claims their product to be and see if it lives up or falls short. With the Philips TAPH805BK headphones I couldn’t find anything to be disappointed with.

High Quality Sound, Touch Controls, Long Battery Life, Fold-able with included carrying case, Active Noise Canceling

Philips HI-RES Wireless Over-Ear (ANC) Headphones - Black TAPH805BK review

Well, the fact that I’m here talking about Philips's new noise canceling headphones does mean that I survived the trip to the dealership, in fact, I had set up camp for a good portion of the day and the TAPH805BKs helped a lot with that.
