Lightweight and decent screen quality

A little bulky

This DVD player worked well. It could certainly withstand the abuse of a six month old kicking it. Skipping was never an issue. We would hit bumps in the road and the DVD never missed a beat. As for reading discs, it would have to be a pretty deep scratch for it to not to play.

The reason I got this product is that it has a five hour running time when it is charged because travel is two hours at a time and you don't have to plug it in to the cigarette lighter after a short period of time.or

I went through at least 4 Players over one year period. There seems to be a quality issue with the motor head (it stops turning).

Everything on this item is fine, except the sound which is TERRIBLE!! barely audible even when turned all the way up..

We have been purchasing Phillips equipment for over 10 years. We purchased a new portable DVD player for our son who has autism. We stayed with Phillips because he is use to the function keys. This one did not have a power cord with it.I followed the user manual instructions and called.

Oredered for my terminally ill /disabled son as he loves dvds , initially had probs with multi system and had to find a code online so we could play american discs but has worked great ever since :)

I use my portable DVD player frequently. I am quite happy with it. The battery is sufficient for the programmes I watch (1-2 hrs. duration). The picture is good, the sound is okay.

green "on" light's position and size

very good - except for the off/on switch which can be accidentally turned on. this can be a problem and I resorted to placing a swatch of tape over the switch so that it cannot be so easily activated.
