Philips Hue Wireless Dimming Kit Review

Philips has been at the head of the class when it comes to connected lighting, and the Hue Wireless Dimming Kit ( at Amazon)  makes the technology even simpler to adopt for new users. The kit comes with two items: a Philips Hue white LED smart bulb and a portable, battery-operated dimmer switch that doubles as a remote control. You can connect the switch to a wall or carry it around as a wand to turn the light on, dim it, or turn it off. There's nothing to download or program, and you can control up to 10 bulbs this way. That's pretty convenient, and at $39.95, relatively affordable. You can also connect the kit to a Philips bridge so you can control it with the Hue app, but its major selling is that works right out of the box, and it does that very well.
