Philips Hue Smart Plug HUE240801 review

★★★★★ 5.0
Working with Bluetooth, the Philips Hue Bridge and Apple HomeKit, the Philips Hue Smart Plug is the most versatile such unit we've ever reviewed. In addition, the plug is exceptionally small, so you're unlikely to experience issues fitting it into even the tightest of spots.
Pros:
  • Works with HomeKit
  • Excellent size
  • Can use without Hue Bridge thanks to Bluetooth
Cons:
  • Slightly fiddly accessory setup

It does what you would expect and fits in well with other Hue products, works well with the Hue app and if you have a need for this, then it is certainly worth investing in.

At 2.0 by 1.0 by 3.0 inches (HWD), it's just a bit smaller than the SmartThings plug (1.5 by 2.6 by 2.1). It has an on/off button on the left side, and Bluetooth and Zigbee radios on the inside, but it...
