By far the best I've ever used. I've gone through about 7 straighteners in the past 8-9 years, all much more expensive than this (5 of those were GHD) yet in comparison they're all rather garbage. It takes me just under 15 minutes to do my hair with the Phillips pro.

User friendly quick to heat and design enables various styles to done like soft curls to straight hair.

This product is very good in terms of performance and ease of use, but it has a terrible design flow. This is my third device after two replacement due to the cracks on top plastic caused by excessive heat. However, I'd like to mention here that the customer service was exceptional from Philips, very responsive and accountable. I may not recommend using this device but after my experience with Philips I will suggest you that the company is very responsible for the devices that they produce and definitely is worth your trust.

I would be straightening my hair then it would stop working because the straightener has turned off (while power point is still on and connected to it). When I turn the hair straightener around while it's on, it makes a crackling sound coming from the part that connects the power cord and straightener together. Still straightens and curls hair well, but the process is frustrating as you always have to check if it's still on.

It is an excellent product for the price, straightens your hair in no time. However, after about 2 months the top plastic cracks on the side due to the heat, catching strands of your hair as you straighten it. I am currently on my 3rd replacement as I like the product and just thought it was a "one" off but it has happened again and I will be asking for a refund.

I have been using Philips straighteners from quite sometime but this one has proven to be the best so far. All it takes is 1 stroke and that's all. Saves on time and energy. Beautifully designed! the heat cap comes super handy while travelling. Simply love it!!!
