Stay away if you like your pictures sharp

It's a prime lens, and I love my Panasonic 20mm f 1.7, but this is nothing similar. Focusing is somehow worse (although it's fast and quiet it's shockingly inaccurate) but even worse this lens is incredibly soft. Don't bother.

Exceeded Expectations

I bought this to be the main lens attached to my GX7 all the time, in lieu of a front camera cap. I figured it would also serve well as the "just grab it and shoot" kind of lens, where I see a shot and need a camera (with a lens already attached) quickly as possible.

This is a really nice / tiny lens

This is a really nice / tiny lens, I find 28mm equivalent to be a little, I prefer a 35mm lens. This is still really usable, it works really well as a travel lens or for holiday photography

Panasonic Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 II ASPH H-H014A lens

Panasonic's Lumix G 14mm f/2.5II ASPH lens has a lot in its favour, even though the sample we tested was a bit below par, resolution-wise. Small enough to slip into a shirt pocket and fast enough for shooting in dim lighting, it is also inconspicuous and, therefore, ideal for street photography.
